001: The Voice Behind The Mic - My Journey To Creating A Permanent Jewelry Franchise, Supply Business & Permanent Jewelry Membership
In this first episode, I share with you my journey into entrepreneurship. Going from a young girl with lots of passion but no clear vision, to graduating from massage school in my Michigan hometown, moving to Las Vegas with a career in Massage Therapy and finding jewelry design, then moving to Colorado, and how one decision to open a boutique space with a friend totally turned my life around!
I share my ups and downs inside my first few years into business as a boutique owner. Going into this entrepreneur life not knowing a single thing about business that led me to being very close to closing my business all together. But I took a leap and joined business masterminds, retreats and conferences which led to not only gaining extreme knowledge about business in general but the most important thing - clarity in my “why” and what I wanted my life and business to look like.
That knowledge and clarity led me to permanent jewelry and offering this amazing business opportunity to other women to support them in growing a strong, sustainable and elevated permanent jewelry business!
In addition to that, knowing what I lacked at the start of my business journey I created the Goldie Links Society - a membership for permanent jewelers - offering a coach, social media expert, mastermind, photographer and supply resource all wrapped into one to help you elevate your permanent jewelry business.
Lastly, one of the reasons I am OBSESSED with permanent jewelry is the customization. I use my 15+ years of jewelry making experience to create gemstone and mixed metal chains and connectors that is available to the permanent jewelry community.
This business journey is amazing but at times, not easy. This is why I created this podcast to share, support and make this journey as fun as possible. I believe anything is possible with the right support, knowledge and passion!
